Blood in Sputum
My husband is 29 yrs, with no previous history of any disease. He has sore throat n pain from couple of days, yesterday morning he got blood in his sputum and sane happed today. Please suggest what next to be done.

your husband must be suffering from acute infection of throat and during such episodes mucosa of the throat will be congested and any minor attempt to clean your throat with fingers or brush can cause minor bleeding. its unlikely to be anything serious. you can consult nearby ENT specialist for proper examination of throat and treatment for the same
