Swelling would eventually come down. As far as pain is concerned please apply an anaesthetic gel every 2 hours and compulsorily half an hour before your meal.
Apply ice over the area to reduce the initial swelling, look at the wound and if it's very deep it will require a suture if not just apply a topical gel over the area so that the wound will be numb and won't hurt on consumption of food. You will require b complex to improve the healing and vitamin c supplements to improve your immunity. Avoid spicy, hot food, have a liquid diet of soups and juices preferably. If the condition persists or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.

you can apply icepacks from outside and Mucopain gel over the affected part.Allo the gel to stay on the affected part for 10 minutes and then rinse with water.you can apply this gel 4-5 times in a day.Avoid spicy and hot food for 4-5 days.
