Dear Sir Please talk to your psychiatrist regarding the sleep difficulties and the erectile problem. You can have a detailed discussion with your psychiatrist and accordingly get your medication adjusted. Please do not alter or stop the medication. Follow sleep hygiene to improve your sleep, exercise preferably in the morning, do not drink caffeine, drink alcohol or smoke in the evening, keep away all the electronic devices before going to bed, make sure your room is comfortable and try some relaxation techniques like meditation before sleep. It will help you to make yourself aware about whar bipolar disorder is and how to recognize the signs of relapse. Please do not alter or stop the medication without consulting your psychiatrist. Thanks Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Dear Practo User, I can understand how you feel. Are you experiencing any other symptoms after you stopped your medication . Identify them. Not being able to sleep might be because you stopped your medication. So speak to your doctor who prescribed you the medication. Mean while try engaging in physical activities that will make you tired and help you to sleep. Also try meditation and mindfulness before going to sleep. About erectile dysfunctional problem, please visit a sexologist.
