The amount of rest depends on the way the surgery is performed. Generally two weeks rest and do not lift anything heavy for 3 months. Cost varies depending on how the surgery is done and where you get the surgery done -generally 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs or more. Avoid se with partner for 6 weeks.
