A detailed assessment of nutritional status, requirement and metabolism is required before we plan for a diet.
Some guidelines to follow:
Restrict intake of junk foods to 2 or 3 times in a month
Include lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Indulge in atleast 1 hour of physical activity everyday.
Include all food groups in moderation.
Make sure you take atleast 3 liter water everyday.
Sleep is equally important, atleast 6 -8 hours is necessary.
