Bartholin Gland Cyst

Asked for Female, 24 Years

Hi m fiancee had severe pain in her vagina 10-15 days after the intercourse her gyncologist said she is having 'BARTHOLIN GLAND CYST' and wrote a CBC test for her. although we used protection bt we both r afraid are there any relation of STD with the cyst n did it happen coz of sex aur its coz she always had flow issues during her menstural period.. please help we r lil as we dnt want to declare it to both the families abt the sex we had in case the cyst needs to be operated.

This s not a sexually transmitted disease..it cn occur in sexually inactive people also.. Try a course of antibiotics for the time being.. But eventually it has to be operated only..
