Hello, bad breath could be because of deposits on teeth surface or food lodged in between teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. Brush your teeth twice daily, night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.

As you stated you have dry mouth issue you should work on that. Simple solution is drink lot of water use sugarfree chewing gum that will stimulate salivation. Brush twice a day. Use tongue cleaner. Massage your gums with finger for 5 minutes. Get scaling done every six months. Visit dentist regularly as dry mouth is frequently associated with cavities in teeth due to lack of cleansing action of saliva.

Hi Bad breath from mouth can be of local origin or can be of extra oral origin, mainly your gut. But at your age, I doubt any serious extra oral condition can be a cause. Please get your teeth checked for calculus and decay. If the calculus is present, no matter how frequently you brush your teeth, bad smell will not go. Please get the scaling done from your dentist.  Also check for any cavities . If these local causes are not present, then I would suggest  you see your internal medicine physician to rule out any extra oral origin.
Next Steps
Get your mouth checked for  calculus and dental cavities.  Get them treated first.

Hi.... To reduce or prevent bad breath: Brush your teeth after you eat. Keep a toothbrush at work to use after eating. Brush using a fluoride-containing toothpaste at least twice a day, especially after meals. Toothpaste with antibacterial properties has been shown to reduce bad breath odors. Floss at least once a day. Proper flossing removes food particles and plaque from between your teeth, helping to control bad breath. Brush your tongue. Your tongue harbors bacteria, so carefully brushing it may help reduce odors.
