Bad breath and stuck mucus in sinus
I have been suffering from bad breath for a long time and I had sinus issues since childhood and allergies as well. I have been doing steam and sinus rinse immediately after for a few months now and I noticed a sticky thick jelly like transparent mucus goes out while rinsing and sometimes after a few minutes after rinsing or randomly the jelly mucus drips down into my throat and I spit it out. When this jelly mucus comes out I notice a sudden increase in the bad smell which I suspect is the odour causing bacteria getting exposed. And doing this has also cleared up my post nasal drip. The post nasal drip is almost non existent. I also use Fluticasone spray everyday during this treatment. My breath has improved a lot, but there's still bad breath. I feel a thin mucus layer above my throat sometimes when I swallow saliva. What to do ? I have been doing steam and sinus rinse for like 2 months now. Each time a jelly mucus comes out, my nose opens up more.
