If weight alone is less the cause can most probably be nutritional, if both height and weight are affected then child needs to be evaluated further. Increase the calorie value of food by adding a spoon or two of ghee to all meals possible. Atleast One egg a day in any form All seasonal vegetables and fruits to be included in diet

The weight is around 5th centile for 13 month old baby.. monitor the height… if both are on the lower side.. workup needs to be done …unless the baby has some chronic condition present since birth.. Low weight alone can be due to multiple factors … most common nutritional .. add some ghee to the diet of the baby.
