Hi Doctor,
My baby is 4 months old and he seems eager to sit up, possibly because it feels good to him. Is it okay for us to let him sit at this stage?

No don't make him sit. Let him do it on his own when his muscles are strong. There is no advantage in helping babies in achieving milestones

Avoid it if you can ...otherwise you can keep the at an angle if you want like 30 to 45° with neck and back supported with some cushion of even hand
