Baby umbilical cord fallen off
My girl baby is 7 days old and her umbilical cord has fallen off today and do we need to apply any medical powder on her belly button. Our pediatrician didn't recommend any medical powder during discharge, however parents at home are suggesting to apply powder.
Please recommend whether we need to apply any medical powder for 7 days old baby and if so what powder we need to apply

Your paediatrician is right. There no need to apply anything until unless there is any discharge from umbilical stump or redness. Do dry immediately after bath.
