Baby is having loose motions
My baby is 8 months 21 days old .she wighs 8.9 kg. She is having loose motions for 4 days frequency is 5 6 times a day, but they are extremely watery. She is also not passing urine frequently, yesterday she didnt passed for 6 7 hours. Her dic is not available since 2 days. What can i do at home, so that she wont get dehydrated.

plz breast feed . give ors , and things like lemon juice ,soups ,rice kanji. donot stop feeding the weaning food as well as breast milk . u may start on syr Z and  d ds drops 1ml once daily for 14 days.

Give ORS frequently to prevent dehydration.... Start zinc syp 2.5ml two times a day Give novogermina liquid twice a day.....

You should start oral rehydration solution . It comes as Electral which is WHO approved . Make a one liter solution and start giving this sip by sip with spoon . Baby must pass urine . Since there is no vomiting this will work well . If baby doesn’t pass urine due to dehydration you will have to go for IV therapy . Immediate concern is to avoid dehydration whatever may be the cause of diarrhea . Please make a video call to doctor , take guidance.
