Baby heartbeat
Dear sir
Baby delevered yesterday . But pediatric and since yesterday he was in NICU becoz doctor said baby having granting problem and today he said little qured but heartbeat was low he said . And another doctor came he said we can discharge baby was fine .
So am in confuse actual doctor saying baby was low heartbeat they r confusing . So please tell me what is the minimum heart beat rate baby has to be in New born cases please tell ranges clear it will be helpfull tome me I will go in NICU and check digital meter ...pls tell .
And pls tell what is granting why they grunt after scezarian delevered happen to my sister

Hi dear friend,
First of all don't worry your baby is going to be perfectly fine .
I can't understand why baby was initially kept in the NICU , but anyways I am sure doctors have there reasons .
Normal heart rate in the new born babies is slightly higher than the children or adults .usually the heart rate is 120-140 /min in new born babies
Respiratory rate in the new born babies vary between 40-60/min .
If the heart rate or respiratory rate is more shows child has got a slight breathing difficulty .
