Baby has cough and cold
Hi Doctor,
My 11 month old baby has cold and cough past 3 days. Doctor has given mucolite ls syrup. She weighs 10 kg. Is it safe to give or should she be given mucolite drops. Please suggest. Thanks.

If mild,just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Use paracetamol for fever if required.
If accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician asap.
