Hello dear patient taking any antibiotic without doctors prescription can be harmful to you. Sometimes antibiotics are not required for mild throat problems. Those who take antibiotics every time they have throat problem or any other problems in body will end up creating resistance to the antibiotics. After few years they will come to know from blood culture report that no antibiotic is working on them and they will have to suffer because of that. So I advise you to take medication only after consultation with doctor. Tc
