Automatic finger twisting
My mother has a weird problem when a finger automatically twists and doesn't return to it's normal position. Especially happens when the fingers are moving. To get it back to the normal position, very slowly the finger has to be pushed back to its initial position and it is extremely painful.

Dear friend .you are having trigger finger. Once the triggering has started, then only surgical release is the option.do not waste time, you should go for release of the sheath around the nodule.it is very small and very effective procedure.Regards dr pankaj agrawal, shoulder knee reconstruction surgeon Ahmedabad

Trigger finger usually is treated by excising the nodule made in tendon sheath, but sometimes it gets dissolved by injecting steroid in it.If she is diabetic, blood sugar level will have to be controlled before injection or surgery.God bless.
