There is no requirement as such.
It depends on the symptoms, severity and also the findings on clinical examination and also findings on the tests performed if any.
Asthalin is a bronchodilator.
So if there is any such thing which needs bronchodilation, it will be prescribed. Be it asthma or copd etc.
