Ascites-peritonial cavity
Large amount of ascites after episode of pancreatitis. 60% necrosis of pancreas . MRI scan reveals no leakage of duct. Amylase of ascites normal. SAAG is 0.8 so no symptom of hyper portal vein tension. Unable to diagnose the reason for ascites. Fluid drained in last 15 days close to 6L in 2 sittings.

Hi there are also many causes like heart related - pericarditis , failure , kidney related. , or infectious conditions like SBP , tuberculosis, malignancies .. veno occlusive. Disease . Post paracentesis fluid Wil be sent for evaluation and thus treated accordingly...
