Anxiety problem
My mother aged 85 yrs is having severe anxiety problem. When it gets evening everyday she fees so uneasy and complaints about palpitation, stomach pain, her lips shivering and not able to sit at once place. She even developed some skin rashes and when consulted, a dermatologist suggested meeting a psychiatrist.

Anxiety problems in elderly people is not common. Usually sudden onset of anxiety in them is secondary to some underlying physical health issues like thyroid, hydration issues, anaemia etc. Please take her to a psychiatrist in person for evaluation and to determine appropriate treatment.
