I have read propranolol and atenolol can help is this right if so what dosage Follow up for- I have anxiety when speaking to a group, stage fright, short of breath, nervousness, shaking leg

Consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and treatment. Propranolol will only treat the physical symptoms and not anxiety disorder which is as a result of neurochemical changes in the brain.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve.
