Antidepressants and acid reflux
I was on mirnite 30mg and soltus 100mg my dr slowly stopped mirnite 30 and started giving me pexidep 37.5 and now he stoped soltus also I don't have acid reflux but I have a lot of gas and stomach burning sensation for a short period. I stopped the medicine 15 days before why is this happening dr

Try having the medicine with food. And try to drink lots of water throughout the day. It will help.

Most likely it is the recurrence of GI symptoms due to modification in the medications. Consult your psychiatrist and get them changed. Good luck

Hi.. gastric irritation can be there with the above medicines. Try taking the medicines with food. Sometimes taking an h2 blocker for a few days may help.
