Ankle pain and swelling
Hlo doctor plz suggest me about my mother ankle joint pain and swelling.She is 54 years old ,she has continue pain in the right ankle joint with swelling of the feet. She has history of right side lateral malleolus fracture 8years back wd history of spondylitis and disc prolapse from last 15 years, hypothyroidism from past 11years,fatty liver grade 2 from last year  and hypertension from last 6 years ...and his weight is 99 kg and height is 5.1inch...I met many orthopaedician doctor here but they  gave only high dose painkillers like Tramadol which has been effected till we use.plz suggest me what can I do for my mother, her pain of feet increases and she is not able to take step and I feel helpless in this lockdown condition...plz make me suggest what can I do .

Hello based on your history , ur mother may have any ligamentous or arthitic problem in the ankle for which detailed history and examination is required

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your mother in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use a pillow under the foot. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part-ie. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my you tube channel Dr NC Gupta Yoga Simplified).
