Anal fissure
I got anal fissure after delivery with a sentinel tag. I took homeo treatment with no auccess then a laparoscopic surgeon suggested me anometrogyl along with chymoral plus (twice a day) with softovac once at night, sitz bath twice a day. I did all this and was cured in around 10 days. Stopped chymoral plus after that but still continuing sitz bath, softovac and anometrogyl and have been taking fibre in my diet, chewing my food properly and water intake is 2.5 litres per day. I have to rejoin office next week. So my question is for how long do I continue sitz bath and anometrogyl. And is softovac a habit forming as I haven't been constipated but I'm of reoccurrence due to sentinel pile and god forbid if ever I pass hard stools after leaving softovac.I don't wanna go for any surgery. Any suggestions are welcome.

Once you will stop softovac and anometrogyl; chances of recurrence are always there due to presence of sentinel tag. Anometrogyl is not recommended for prolonged use. You better; opt for ayurvedic management of anal fissure which is safe and effective. You can apply sushruta ointment and sushruta oil twice daily. Further sentinel tga be removed with minimal surgery by graded ksharsutra treatment. No hospitalization or bed rest is required. First of all use Indian style toilet, if you are using commode toilet, then use toilet step stool, commode toilet is unnatural for humans, Western toilet increases constipation.
