Yellow peel on acne -> hyperpigmentation

After my first yellow peel session, the yellow peel was only applied to the acne on my face, and I got hyper-pigmentation spots on my face and its driving me crazy because I have a huge conference coming up in 3 days. My dermatologist recommended the bioderma cicabio cream but it hasn't made any difference and I'm in desperate need for help. Thank you :)
