Hi Good evening! How long have you had the issue of going to the bathroom ofte? It could be related to IBS. If that's the reason, then you would have to get a personalised diet plan, to address the root cause. This will help you manage anxiety and gain weight. However, if you don’t have IBS, here are some ways to increase your weight. 1. Check for your blood sugar, thyroid levels through blood test to rule out any other medical conditions. 2. Include healthy fats in your diet like soaked almonds, other nuts and seeds, avocados and 1 tsp ghee (daily). 3. Eat protein sources like regular fat milk, yogurt and paneer. 4. Try breathing exercises or guided meditation to manage anxiety. Not sleeping well due to anxiety or excess stress may also cause you to not gain weight.

Hello! As per your explanation it can be IBS related to stress and anxiety, but can't come to a conclusion with just a few symptoms, need to rule out if it's due to the other causes like Hyperthyroidism, genetics, physical activity, nutritional status etc, and treat accordingly along with dietary management.. And also need to know other parameters like your height, type food you consume, food allergies , likes and dislikes, habits etc..
Next Steps
You can book an appointment through Practo for a detailed discussion and correct analysis.
