After undergoing TURP, after a month again he is Not able to urinate complained of pain. I had to place a catheter. Any idea what might be the reason. He is diabetic.

Hello.. it's quite possible that in spite of during the surgery the urinary complaint still there... I would suggest you to go for USG scan first so that we can see how much retention is there..tht too with the catheter...we may have to reconsider the procedure...thank you
