ULTRASOUND report. No Yolk sac is seen.

ULTRASOUND PREGNANCY A single intrauterine gestational sac of around 5 weeks, 4 days is seen. No yolk sac and no fetal pole is seen. Both ovaries are normal. No adnexal mass is seen. No active bleeding or subchorionic hematoma is seen at time of examination. The above is the report of my TVS. Kindly guide when can yolk sac be developed? Is it normal that the yolk sac is still not showing. When can it show?

Its still early to see fetal heartbeat or fetal pole I suggest you to wait for another 10-15days for rescan. Meanwhile make sure to take folic acid tablets daily and don’t stress about it .
