Types of vaginal infection

I placed a cotton swab at vaginal opening. I tried to use it instead of my fingers to masturbate. When i took it out the cotton part was missing. I checked but couldn't find it. Is there a chance it went inside? If i get infected then what type of infection can occur? Please answer as i will not be able to consult on call or video call

Please consult with a Gynaecologist in your area as soon as possible. If you couldn't find the cotton swab please let your Gynaecologist find it and remove it. An infection due to a misplaced swab can be a dangerous matter.
