Tight and contracted muscles due to tmj

I am a patient of tmj disorder. My tmj treatment is going on with splint and braces. I think my masseter and trapezius, this two muscles mainly along with other jaw and neck are very tight and make noise during stretching and moving. How can I make them normal and restore normal posture along with tmj treatment by dentist. Please help with details and exercises programme.

When you have a TM joint dysfunction ,over a period of time the muscles required for chewing and opening the mouth become tight and  wasted .Hence it is essential to work on stretching and  strenghthening of these muscles. Trapezius does  not come under this You have to mainly concentrate on mouth opening,streghthening masseter,pterygoids,lower jaw mobilisation. If the joint is painful., you can even take an injection inside the joint to reduce the pain
