Throat pain

Has history of thyroid in the past. Which has subdued and stopped medication for the same. Suddenly getting acute pain in the throat at thyroid region.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. It could be hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, for which you have to take medicines lifelong. I don't know who told you that you can stop the medicines. I'm sure no doctor would have told you to stop the medicines. You wanted to act smart and did it by yourself. Consult a endocrinologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards.
