Used corn caps for 8 days,and salicylic acid for 5 days, still not relived.lot of pain at site of corn how should i proceed for treatment.And if have to cut off skin, how many days it takes to get back to daily activities.

Corn cap or salicylic acid ointment treatment requires long duration (2-3months) for effective result. You have to be careful to avoid friction & have to use soft footwear. If you are having unbearable pain, then you will need excision (cut) of the corn. After Surgery, you can get back to normal work in 1-2days with caution for footwear, but the wound healing will take time 20-30days.
