Sticky thing after stools

I had been through an operation for piles in october 2015. From then everything was ok. But a sticky thing has started passing while passing stools from last few days. I don't feel any pain. But yesterday only the sticky thing was bright red. Please help me with this.

That may be blood mixed with mucus. Get your stool examined. Especially stool for occult blood. Get in touch with the surgeon. Let him examine you and see if there are any anal fissure or not
