My age is 58. I had consulted a Physiotherapist a month ago. He performed MRI scans and the report says that I have Type 1 SLAP Tear. The treatment, medicines and exercises were ineffective. i have searched for doctors in Mumbai. Whom should I consult ? A Physiotherapist or a Orthopedic (Orthopedic surgeon)? Please reply at the earliest.

Dear Sir, SLAP lesions can be painful. However the management (conservative or operative) can be decided only after a detailed clinical examination by a shoulder specialist.
