My wife had a blackout for 10 mins and does not remember anything. After she woke up in around 10 minutes she has been having severe headache. What could be the reason behind this ?

Hello. Blackout and amnesia of the event, followed by severe headache is a serious matter. She may be having a subarachnoid haemorrage, or the blackout can be due to many other reasons.
Next Steps
Take her to any hospital emergency immediately, as she will need a urgent CT scan of brain and furthur evaluation. Thank you.

I can understand your concern, its a serious issue and there should be no delay in consulting a doctor preferably a neurologist. it could be related to brain and underperfusion of some part of the brain. suggest you to take her to a hospital near you where you can consult a neurologist . she will require a CT scan also. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
