Second trimester tripple marker test has been performed on week 18 week 02 days pregnancy. Below is the report impression : The given sample is screen positive for Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) with an increased risk of 1:201. Doctor suggests another tests but saying that this is just risk factor doeant mean that there is some issue with baby. I want second opinion please suggest.
