My wife was tested positive for pregnancy it's been 7 weeks. Doctor advised to get the antenatal scan. What is this scan exactly called in labs.when I see there are like 2d 3d 4d scans what exactly needs to be taken

All these scans has there own importance in medical way.... Please confirm from your gynaecologist which one he has suggested specifically..... Most probably it's 2D scan which is done in 1st trimester of pregnancy. But you still get it confirmed. Good luck and take care.
