Pulmonary tuberculosis
Found plueral fluid thru x-ray.we did tapping for the fluid .Tb related test done.AFB test was positive.myibacteria test and rimapfin test came negative.but ct chest and xray doctor said and confirmed Pulmonary tb dignosis.startes first line drugs and stereptomycin injection.
Husband got skin rash after a week.we have stopped streptomycin.
Any advice for verification of line of treatment advised is correct or not?
Hello, right don't worry, 45days are to be careful as it is a contagious till mycobacterium are alive. Strpto stopped as rashes appear, very good disicion. ACCORDINGLY diet must be very healthy, not too greasy.milk n milk products. Tomato soup vegetable soup are benificial.
Medicin should be taken without miss .work n rest balance. Not to be exerted much. No cold thing. First line treatment is easy going.ok.
