Plantar fasciitis

2024-08-23 08:37:21
I am suffering from plantar fasciitis since 1 month. My left leg heel feels severe pain immediately after I got up from bed. Tried some pain killers and exercises but no use. Can anyone help me with medication? Thank you.

Plantar fasciitis is common these days,no need to worry☺️, try Zerodol tc twice a day after food for 7-10 days and try to apply some lukewarm water to that plantar area or else put that foot in warm water in a tub 2-3 times a day,if still persists, can consult ☺️

I concur with the treatment recommendations provided. However, I would suggest the primary approach should include appropriate stretching exercises, alternating hot and cold therapy, and the use of analgesics for a few days. Additionally, consulting a skilled physiotherapist is highly recommended.

Please consult a General Physician or an Orthopedic surgeon for a physical examination. A proper diagnosis is a must. Most of the cases of Plantar fasciitis are associated with Calcium or Vitamin D deficiency. But the proper treatment should be started after a physical examination.

I'm sorry to know that you're battling with plantar fasciitis. It can cause a lot of pain and frustration. The following list of potential medications may be helpful: Over-the-Counter Pain Relievers: Ibuprofen (Brufen, Ibugesic) and naproxen (Naprosyn, Artagen) are two examples of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) that can help relieve pain and inflammation. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen: This medication is also effective in treating pain. Topical NSAIDs: To reduce pain and inflammation, apply NSAID-containing creams or gels directly to the afflicted area. If none of these remedies work, it may be worthwhile to talk to your doctor about alternative therapies like: Corticosteroid Injections: By lowering inflammation, these can offer more substantial relief. Physical Therapy: Depending on your condition, a physical therapist can help you with particular exercises and treatments.    It is critical to check with your doctor before beginning any new medicine or treatment regimen. They can provide tailored guidance based on your individual circumstances.

Depending on the severity of the condition it takes a few months to heal. What you can do at home is A) rest and ice application B) Physiotherapy and stretching exercises C) use good shoe inserts D) for your pain you can take anti inflammatory analgesics If this doesn’t help you can consult an orthopaedic surgeon and inquire about corticosteroid injections but personally i would recommend you give the above mentioned treatment a try for a few months

It's just ur inflamed plantar fascia causing the pain as u mentioned. Mainly due to constant pressure on ur feet. Use Soft soled slippers, and proper stretching exercises and weight reduction will improve this. If it's much more painful then u can try steroid injections. But not much advisable for frequent application
