In govt, 2+1 schedule (2primary dose and 1 booster at 9 months) of PCV 10(10 strains of pneumococcus covered) is followed IAP recommends 3 + 1 schedule ( booster given between 12 to 15 months) as this is the most studied and established schedule for the vaccine.
