Pain- post hernia repair

I underwent an inguinal hernia repair surgery 5 years back using Mesh. I don't know the medical terms and much more details about the mesh and surgery. And now from past 3-4 days, feeling some minor pain in operated area(stitching area). Its on and off while sitting, driving and even some time while resting on bed.
