Pain n fever one month after c- section

I had c section a month ago , I have pain near the incision area and fever of 99.6 . Had sudden bleeding a week ago but that has subsided now . Body pain is there , Pulse 88,  BP 105/70 Is my incision infected ? Or i am having viral fever. Shall I stay away from my baby and not feed her ?

1. We can comment about infection in a particular site without having a look 2. Same as above 3. Usually you don’t need to stay away from baby it also depends on what kind of infection you have Do you have any other symptoms like bleeding etc

If there's no discharge from stitch line then your stutch line is not infected. Do you have breast tenderness/ burning mucturition? And yes this could be viral as well. You may feed your baby just make sure you wash your hands and weak mask while touching your baby.

Some amount of pain at incision site is expected, as it’s only been a month since surgery. Unless it’s unbearable pain or any abnormal discharge from the wound, in which case pls visit your doctor right away. Low grade fever could be due to any number of reasons. Make sure your water intake is good, as dehydration can also cause UTI and fever. If you have cough or cold, pls wear a mask while feeding the baby.
