My mother is about 55 years of age with number of diseases like depression, asthama, thyroid and now she Feels pain in chest and neck. The pain continues for about 3-4 days then vanishes. I wanted to know What is causing this pain and what type of diagnosis is needed? Please help.

Someone with the medical history and the age group, will have to be first seen by a General Physician or a Cardiologist, to rule out any issues with heart. Once they have done investigations and have ruled out any problems with the heart, other investigations will be needed to know what is the exact diagnosis and what treatment can be done for it.
