Hello doctor! My mom had Acute Appendicitis & she had open appendix surgery on 21st Feb,2016. Till today everything was fine...but suddenly she's feeling a slight pain at the place of the stitches. What could be the reason? Should we consult the doctor?

Hello there. Slight pain at the site of the surgery could be normal. Or it could be that the site has got infected or something else. The wound needs to be examined. Consult the surgeon who operated on her. Are the stitches removed? Are you undergoing regular dressing? Hope she gets well soon. Regards
