Pain at biopsy area

Hi Doctor, My wife had ill defined mass at arelo area. Had core biopsy and too multiple samples. Found out to be Fat necrosis in biopsy. Now the issue is breast at biopsy incision area is hard and having occasional sharp pinning pain. It has been 9 days, but still it is not recovered. How many days it will take for breast core biopsy to heal. Will cold or hot compress help? Please suggest. Thanks in advance

It should heal with in 7-10 days If not, there is chance to be infected You may need antibiotics analgesics and anti edema measures Avoid hot compression You can try cold ( ice pack)
