My wife didn't took ovral l on the 7th day from the last pill taken so could she take it now it's already 10th day

Hello... Now it already 3 days after missing... It's should be taken within 48 hours of missing along with that days tablet even if it's two tablets.... And should take 7 days continuous pills without default.. But now no use.. Avoid sexual intercourse .. And tell her to take pills regularly from next time.
