Hi Doctor my son is 5 months old, till date he has got 1 IPV and 3 OPV, he was supposed to get the IPV 2nd dosage but it's not available. Is there any alternative solution for this.
Dear friend ,your query is genuine .Its true that IPV is superior to OPV .But understand that OPV provides good enough immunity to the extent that we have reached a stage of eradication of polio from India with it's use. Get next doses whenever IPV is available. Till then relax n follow OPV as per schedule .
