My friend has scarred her thighs with blade and has sent pictures to me and other members of the same social crowd. She states she does all this because she feels she has depression. Moreover, her family is financially weak and her dad is a kidney patient. He is undergoing treatment for that and she is the only earning member of her family so she has to make both ends meet. She is constantly worried about her dad's health status. She has also told us that her office environment is really pressurising and she states that she is frequently mocked by the team and her work goes unnoticed. She has this habit of fainting whenever she encounters any sort of problem. It feels like she has an attention seeking nature. She always has the desperate need for seeking sympathy as well. Kindly let us know what type of disorder this is and how to deal with it. Will the person ever try to harm others physically/mentally?
