Defect of 26mm inginel hernia found in my brother. He is suffering from mild bearable left testicle pain. Surgeon suggested him an operation !!! Pls guide me , is there any other way ? What are the consequences after operation ? Is it a minor or major operation ? Myself and he afraid for post operation consequences? Is there anything to take care before surgery ?

Well hernia must be taken care of with the operation only..before it gets complicated he need to be operated for it..I understand your apprehension but this is the way...yes it will be a major procedure under spinal anaesthesia but then you do not have to worry as its easkuy taken up surgery...follow up with the Surgeon...thank you
