If the Gallbladder is removed , how fat will be digested ? After remover of Gall Bladder what happens to the cystic duct ? Is any direct connection made between Liver and GI tract in that case ? Please explain the concept with details . It will be very helpful for learning purpose.

Removal of gall bladder has not shown any defect in fat digestion. There's common bile duct which brings bile from liver into intestine

Pancreas will take over fat digestion. Cystic duct will be removed after tight closure at common bile duct level.
