My friend overdosed on 8000mg of ibuprofen last month. She's fine at the moment but wants to see a doctor here in North Carolina to get a check up because she knows that there could be long term damage. But she's worried that they would keep her on a 72 hour watch (something she has had before) for attempted suicide even though it was over a month ago. She is seeing a therapist now. So basically my question is, would they send her somewhere for a 72 hour watch under the circumstances?
